How to get Sexy, Frizz Free Curls
Perhaps it’s a big night out or you are attending a wedding or maybe it’s just another day. However you have decided that you want to go curly and you want sexy, frizz free curls that last! Achieving this look is simple with the right hair tools and hair styling products.
What you will need on hand;
Hair Dryer with Diffuser
Curling Iron or Hair Straightener Iron
Curling mousse
Shine Spray
Flexible Hold Hairspray
Apply a small amount of curling mousse to wet hair and dry hair with your head upside down for more volume. Weather your hair is straight or curly, dry hair straight first. Once hair is completely dry, depending on the length of your hair, pin into 2 to 4 sections, leaving the bottom layer down to style first.
If you are using a curling iron take sections of your hair one at a time and wrap them around the barrel of your curling iron, do not use the clamp. Hold for a few seconds and then release the curl. For the most natural look it is best to alternate the size of the section of hair and the direction of the curl.
If you are using a hair iron you will start the same way as noted above, by pinning hair into sections. Taking sections of hair, again alternating size and direction, clamp your flat iron near the root of the hair and twist the iron until the entire section has gone through the plates. Let go of the hair and shape the curl with your fingers.
When you have finished curling your entire head of hair make any touch ups that may be necessary with your hair iron or curling iron then spay a light amount of shine spray on your strands. It is very important that you don’t go overboard with the shine spray as it can make hair look oily if you do, always remember you can add more if need so start out with less. Shape and separate your curls with fingers, do not brush or comb curls, and then set with a flexible hold spray. To keep hair from getting frizzy do not brush or comb it and do you’re best not to play with it!
